Cornerways Fostering Services was set up in 2003 as part of a larger Cornerways organisation which has been caring for young people and children in residential children's homes since 1989. The whole Cornerways organisation, providing Fostering and Residential child care services, is owned and managed by dedicated social workers. Cornerways' first residential children's home was opened to help children with complex needs, particularly young girls who had experienced trauma, and Cornfield School provides special education for girls who live within Cornerways or within their own families in nearby towns.
Cornerways Fostering Services is run in accordance with the National Standards for Foster Care and the Law and Regulations that apply to Children's Services and to Fostering Services. Our services are all registered and inspected by Ofsted. Click here to read our latest Ofsted report.
